It is a very good saw as far as starting, ease of service how it performs. The directions are quite clear on setup and starting - no issues at all. The saw does not wear you out either. Can go several hours and no backaches or wrist issues. I am 57 and 6'#39;5'quot; and I do bend the knees! I have used it for cleanup and cutting some larger trees and it goes right through the hardwoods. I do sharpen the chain as the chips get fine and I am working harder for a cut. Take the time to sharpen and you will save time and wear and tear on your saw. I use regular 87 octane unleaded gas with Stabil and never a problem even when left for months at time. Pay attention to the bar/chain oil adjustment also as this saves wear on the saw as well. BIG ...'nbsp;MoreI have owned my 16'quot; Remington Rebel for 3 years. I just spoke with the manufacturer and asked if an 18'quot; bar can be put on this saw and the reply was Yes. I ordered a bar and chain direct as I had them on the phone. I have some larger logs lately and saw where other makers have interchangeable bars with their saws. The Remington Rebel 14, 16 and 18 all have same bodies and engine specs so all interchangeable as far as bar length. Customer service was excellent - thanks Remington!!'nbsp;LessJeff · Review provided by Home DepotAll Reviews
