Build Your Own Jet Engine with this fully working plastic model of a 4 stroke petrol car engine with ignition sound and illuminating spark plugs! The model engine is fun to put together and the Haynes Jet Engine kit contains everything you need. The model engine is transparent meaning the workings of the two-spool Turbofan Engine can be seen quite clearly. It includes low and high pressure turbines and a sound clip in the motorised base that replicates the noise of a real engine. It takes time to build, but you'll get a real sense of achievement once you see it working.
