    This chinois is perfect for pureing soft and semi-soft foods, straining soups and making stocks and broths. The fine stainless steel mesh allows liquid to pass through while retaining pulp and other unwanted solids. When used with a wooden pestle (sold separately) chinois can be used to create pure from cooked fruits and vegetables. Made of sturdy, long lasting stainless steel, this chinois will not retain smells and flavors. Handle and lip allow for chinois to rest on bowl or pan while in use.
