You’re saving money and you’re saving time, and the trade-off is that you’re getting lower quality. It’s very hard to get this perfectly straight, particularly because the summer heat will make it expand a little and cause it to warp. You’ll need to pull it really straight and tight to keep it from warping. Because it’s “no dig” and doesn’t go deep into the ground, grass rhizomes can easily creep under it so there’s always grass seeping through the edging.
