When she realized that she could see who she was talking to and herself...she was hooked.My son, who enjoys electronics of all types was instantly enthralled as electronics can keep him busy indefinitely. What I found especially nice was that I had found a toy that they would actually play with EACH OTHER!! No charging necessary like some electronics. It was instant gratification (as long as you have those AAA batteries on hand). We all know how disappointing it is to kids when they get a new toy and they have to wait hours before they can use it the first time. So they were off and running and I didn't see them again for about 35 minutes until the sibling rivalry kicked in...lol. The only negative thing that I noticed at all was that the sound does cut in and out but I think that should be expected on a child's toy because we still experience that on expensive cell phone technology so expect that.Today we had the opportunity to take our Spy Gear Video Walkie Talkies to our home school day at the corn maze and I got to see how other kids would react to these. The kids were fighting over who got to use them and they really enjoyed being able to communicate with each other in the corn maze. It was good fun all around!
