The elongated shape creates a generous interior surface area, exposing wine to just the right amount of oxygen. Aeration has an effect similar to swirling wine in a glass, encouraging both young and old vintages to develop their full flavors and bouquet. The decanter's wide mouth simplifies filling, while the curved handle makes the well-balanced vessel very comfortable to hold and pour. Non lead, mouth blown, handmade.
