Lightweight strength is the name of the game with the President XT, as the aluminum body and main shaft are 30% lighter than stainless steel, and the aluminum pinion gear is 60% lighter than a traditional brass gear.The spool is braid-ready, meaning braid line can be tied directly to it. The bearing drive system includes corrosion-resistant stainless steel ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse bearing for reliable performance, and the sealed drag system ensures drag washers are always lubricated and smooth. Also includes a carbon fiber handle and rubber cork knobs for a no-slip grip.
