Okuma Azores Saltwater Spinning Reels are built with the focus on advanced strength, performance, and durability. These reels are different from the rest because they feature dual anti-reverse systems. The one way clutch bearing is joined by a ratcheting anti-reverse which is molded into the bottom of the rotor for an increased diameter and larger teeth. Azores Saltwater Spinning Reels have power features which include a die-cast aluminum body, side plate and rotor, a machined cut pinion gear, and the Okuma Dual Force Drag system. This drag system utilizes a traditional top drag stack which is combined with an oversized Carbonite drag washer beneath the spool, which increases high end drag output, as well as spool stability.
