Composition is a concrete/resin mixture that is very durable and holds water perfectly. As you can see from the image, the saucers have ridges keeping the planter elevated just enough to allow for drainage and water to evaporate from the saucer. p The 12 measurement is taken from the inside top of the saucer. Most saucers are about 2 inches tall, with a slight taper, wider at the top than the bottom.
