Equipped with a more aggressive version of Never Summer's Rocker Camber profile and plenty of pop-and response-enhancing features, the West X Snowboard is designed to confidently take on every aspect of Colorado's legendary peaks. Built with a wider waist, the West X is the NS' version of the West to accommodate riders with larger feet. Ripsaw Rocker Camber is similar to the original R. C. profile, but with enhanced camber zones that give it a poppier, more responsive feel, while extended transition zones at the main contact points offer a more forgiving feel and help the board plane in powder more easily. Plus, the Vario Power Grip sidecut utilizes multiple radii to create additional contact points for reliable edge hold on some of the steepest, iciest slopes. A slightly set-back stance enhances power and control while also improving float in the deep stuff. Carbon VXR laminates extend in Vs from the inserts to the edges for efficient energy transfer that improves response and loads up the board on ollies for insane pop. The RDS 2 damping system smooths out the ride when you're bombing through chop, and sintered P-Tex sidewalls maintain integrity at cold temperatures, meaning they won't crack when you land backseat on a frigid day. The Carbonium topsheet is chip-resistant and sheds snow, and it has a texture that is grippier than standard topsheets for better traction when you're pushing one-footed.
