Normally I do a pro and con list but I don't really have any cons with this item so I will just give a little backstory.I bought a pair of these a year and a half or so ago and used them every day in my job. I loved them and they were small and compact, didn't take up much room in the tool pouch and stripped fast and easy on smaller wiring and did decent work on the larger wiring without having to pull the crap outta it to get the sheath off!Well fast forward to half a year ago and I was an idiot and tried cutting something with these that wasn't designed to cut...I don't remember honestly but it might of likely been a nail and I was to lazy to grab my cutter or ... ;MoreSo I see a lot of the reviews have no comments to them so let me let you in a little to these wire strippers. Normally I do a pro and con list but I don't really have any cons with this item so I will just give a little backstory.I bought a pair of these a year and a half or so ago and used them every day in my job. I loved them and they were small and compact, didn't take up much room in the tool pouch and stripped fast and easy on smaller wiring and did decent work on the larger wiring without having to pull the crap outta it to get the sheath off!Well fast forward to half a year ago and I was an idiot and tried cutting something with these that wasn't designed to cut...I don't remember honestly but it might of likely been a nail and I was to lazy to grab my cutter or something. Regardless it damaged the cutter which made these bind up some every time I went to use them, so I pooled in some cash and went and bought the expensive $35 klein strippers that are designed like the linesman pliers thinking "Hey at that price+klein you can't loose right?" well I was sadly wrong and after half a year of being annoyed with that bulky expensive item I went out and bought another one of these much cheeper strippers and l will tell you now just get these and don't even bother looking for something else if what you mainly work on is smaller wiring up to even 14 or 12 gauge. These will do just fine, they are sturdy, built well, pretty rust proof (but not impervious) light weight and compact. Just don't be dumb like I was and take your extra steps for your fitbit unlike me and grab the proper tool for the job and these should last you years easily! Hope my review helped, sure there is bigger badder tools out there but when it comes to wire strippers i've tried many from many brands over the years and really these just feel so right to m
