System is comprised of liquid-filled bladders placed strategically in the helmet, which allow the helmet to reduce head rotation, thus reducing the risk of concussion-causing brain rotation. The R.E.D. system is not the only technology CCM has incorporated into the FL60, though. Solid EPP foam with soft foam comfort cushions embedded within allow for you to have great impact dispersal combined with the comfort of soft foam, much like the FITLITE and FL80 above this bucket.
