Shielded Anti-Reverse Bearings These bearings have been through the same process as the A-RB bearings, but feature shields on both sides of the bearings that reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearings' rotation. Aluminium Cold Forged Spool These spools provide strength and durability over diecast aluminium or graphite spools. Power Roller This is an oversized line roller that reduces twist from casting and retrieving and is enhanced with a tapered area on the support to help line get onto the roller quicker. This results in a fishing reel with ultra-light handle rotation; less effort and power giving a perfect rotation even under heavy loads. AR-C Spool Management System Through tens of thousands of casting tests and computer simulations it has been determined that this new AR-C spool lip design provides longer casting distances than a standard spool lip design while preventing backlashes and wind knots from forming. It also allows the line to flow off the spool in smaller loops during the cast, which means less slap on the stripper guide. This means longer casts with less friction.
