Black Diamond Raven Ice Axe with Grip

This elegant Black Diamond Raven Ice Axe has a pared down single piece head with adze and classic pick for arresting and belay construction. The slender aircraft aluminium alloy shaft provides the necessary support for walking and negotiating moderate snow slopes yet drives easily into all but the hardest snow packs. The Raven is equipped with a Slider Leash that helps prevent it disappearing down the mountain as well as providing extra support when engaged in pick work. To further assist when things get technical there is also a dual-density grip at the base of the shaft. With CEN-B certified construction and a carabiner compatible eyelet in the head the Raven is the ideal too for glacial and general mountain travel.
